Forgiveness

Learning how to forgive others is challenging and painful, but so freeing and healing.

Learning how to push through the intense pain when others don’t forgive you…I haven’t figured that part out yet.

Life is so short, that I do know. Everyone’s perception of reality is distorted to some varying degree and that greatly shapes our approach to life and relationships and our voice has the power to shape others’ perspectives, we must be so careful with that.

The less we work together to work through these distortions and through the reality of pain and unforgiveness the more we’re trapped in brokenness.

I don’t know when my last breath will be on this earth…but I want to choose to be ready for my Lord when He arrives. That is the ultimate, most important thing I must do. Whether others choose to forgive my brokenness, I must choose to forgive theirs and continually press on, drawing nearer to Jesus and His likeness and pray that sooner rather than later, forgiveness and healing will come.

“For if you forgive others their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;

but if you do not forgive others their offenses, your heavenly Father will not forgive yours.”

‭‭Mattityahu (Mat)‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭CJB‬‬

“Keep pursuing shalom with everyone and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

See to it that no one misses out on God’s grace, that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble and thus contaminates many,”

‭‭Messianic Jews (Heb)‬ ‭12‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭CJB‬‬
