Sipping a cappuccino in a foreign cafe, I’m in Ephesians 1!!!
HE chose US in LOVE…to be holy and without defect…in HIS presence.
If I’m outside of His presence it’s impossible to be holy and without defect.
A bird kept calling from a nearby tree and wouldn’t stop squawking at me until I fixed my gaze on him; only then would he be quiet. I kid you not, the second I turned away, he began squawking again. This occurred right after I read Ephesians 1:1-6. We must keep our eyes fixed upon Him; remaining in His presence is the safest place to be.
Then verse 6…we are to bring him praise…in EQUAL MEASURE…with the glory of the grace HE has given US through our Beloved!!!
That’s a LOT of grace, thus a lot of praise due Him!
